Grandfather Mountain (Family Fun List, 1 of 22)

Beautiful, and windy, day!!

We took the kids out of school early yesterday to drive up to Grandfather Mountain! From the fat black bears to the gorgeous trees, it is truly one of my favorite places in North Carolina! The colors weren't as pretty as years past, but it's hard not to marvel at the wonder of God's beauty up there! Emma and TJ absolutely love going every year, especially if they can share it with friends!


We were able to share the crisp (very windy) mountain air with some of our closest friends- the Kricks and the Gebhards. It was truly a blessing to be able to spend the afternoon in fellowship with both families!
